CONFERENCE CALLS … AGAIN

Yorkshire and the Humber Liberal Democrats Spring 2010 Regional Conference

You may not believe it, but the Yorkshire and the Humber Liberal Democrats Spring 2010 Regional Conference (what "spring"? you may well ask) is only a month away. The date for your diary is Saturday 20 February and the place is Harrogate (a jewel of a town at any time of year).

A stellar line-up of speakers is already confirmed; they include Nick Clegg MP, Diana Wallis MEP, Phil Willis MP and Greg Mulholland MP. The Wainwright Lecture, in memory of our unforgettable former MP, the late Richard Wainwright, will be given by Michael Meadowcroft, who was Liberal Member of Parliament for Leeds West from 1983 to 1987. The day will also include a rally with the region's MPs and PPCs to officially launch the election campaign in Yorkshire and the Humber. The Conference opens at 10.45 am, with training sessions from 9.30 am.

The booking fee, which includes a buffet lunch, is £28.00 (£18.00 for students and people whose only income is state benefits or the state pension).
